Shannon Fariel-Mureithi  – Food for the Hungry

US OSPAs 2020Shannon Fariel-Mureithiis the Global Security Director for Food for the Hungry, a humanitarian NGO. She built, from conception to implementation, a global security and crisis management program that is the standard today. Her efforts enable the organization to safely access and assist vulnerable communities affected by conflict, disasters and terrorism. Known as a collaborator, she has trained dozens of organizations, aided in certification development of NGO security standards, and has spoken as an expert in multiple forums. Shannon is active with Overseas Security Advisory Council as the Chair for a common interest council and serves on the Executive Council.

Arnaldo Scachetti – Global Elite Group

Arnaldo Scachettiis theRegional Director of the entire Western Region for Global Elite Group. He currently manages contracted aviation security functions within the (11) states of the region.Arnaldo ensures the effective management of day-to-day operations at all airports within the region and any locations we perform general security services. Prior to this role, Arnaldo was the General Manager at Global’sLAX location. His leadership increased the positive feedback received from LAX airline customers. LAX handles a large amount of Special Operations work and Arnaldo is responsible for the successful organization of complicated staff scheduling and stakeholder engagement.

He has also briefed well over 100 university presidents that run renowned research institutes on the targeted placement of foreign spies masquerading as graduate research students, along with the recruitment of experts through operations such as the Chinese Communist Parties Thousand Talents Program.

Captain Tyler Thompson  – Weiser Security Services, Inc.

Captain Thompson exemplifies The Weiser Promise to employ only the most dependable and reliable. Captain Thompson is a Site Supervisor for a hospital in Arizona. In November 2019 there was a gang related shooting in the community. The hospital went into lockdown. The shooter/ suspects were still at large, although the shooting victims were in the Emergency Room. Thompson had a description of the vehicle that was driven by one of the shooting suspects. He saw a vehicle fitting the description in the parking lot. Following the vehicle on foot, Thompson contacted law enforcement and was on the phone with police dispatch, relaying the direction of travel as it occurred. Law enforcement apprehended the suspects.

Lisa Oliveri, CPP – Education Development Center (EDC)

Lisa brings a global, philanthropic perspective to the security sector as a young female professional with a background in education and international affairs. Lisa works for EDC, an international NGO, and is a dedicated volunteer, trainer, and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in security.In January 2021, Lisa will become the CSO Center’s first female Board Chair and is looking forward to taking on this role and representing both women in security and young professionals.Lisa also serves as the Chair of the OSAC International Development Working Group and Co-Chair of the ASIS International Young Professionals Community

George Campbell – Security Executive Council

George Campbell has been called “one of the godfathers of corporate security.” From his groundbreaking leadership as CSO at Fidelity Investments, to his current role as a founding faculty member of the Security Executive Council. He has mentored future senior security leaders, driven industry-wide operational excellence, and made unparalleled strides in the field of security metrics. His first book, Measures and Metrics of Corporate Security, is the foundational text on security metrics. George has built his career on demonstrating and enhancing the value of the security function.
