The OSPAs are coming to the USA

Sep 29, 2015News

During a press conference at the ASIS International Security Exposition 2015, the founder of the OSPAs, Professor Martin Gill, announced that the OSPAs have reached an agreement with ASIS International (ASIS) to launch the OSPAs in the USA in 2016. The event will take place during ASIS International in Orlando in 2016.

Following the success of the very first OSPAs in Norway last week, and events coming up in Australia and Germany, the announcement of USA being on board for 2016 marks an exciting future for the award scheme.

OSPA founder, Professor Martin Gill, stated:

“Across the world, security associations and groups are coming together to celebrate their most successful performers. We are delighted to be working with ASIS to launch the OSPAs in the U.S. in 2016, beyond ASIS other Associations and groups are planning to join in support.”

Dave Tyson, President of ASIS International, said:

“ASIS International is delighted to be working in collaboration with the OSPAs to introduce the OSPAS into the USA in 2016. Recognising outstanding performance by individuals, teams and companies across the security sector is important and the fact the OSPAs is being held in different countries only adds to the attraction of this award. I look forward to seeing who the winners are.”
